Storytelling for Seniors 2.0 - Telling YOUR Story

(pre-requisite: Effective Storytelling 101)

An expansion and extension of the earlier course focusing on the development of your own personal story for print or performance. This is neither an acting class nor a writing class, but it will focus on the effective performance of your material for audiences of various ages, or in preparation for telling your story in print for others to read. Most "writing" will take place between classes as homework with specific objectives.

Scott Hurst is an actor, acting coach and storyteller with over 40 years of professional experience. Collingwood audiences may remember him from the 2021 Porchside Festival where he portrayed actor/storyteller Charles Laughton in "Laughton Common".

Class Dates: October 7, 14, 21, 27 & November 4

Friday Afternoons: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
